This holiday season, pay it forward and help youth players reach their goals. Your generous donation to our nonprofit will make a positive impact for our players. At Virginia United FC, we are passionate about helping all players move forward to become leaders both on and off the pitch. 

• Thanks to generous donations, 74 players received financial assistance in 2023, giving them the chance to head onto the pitch as part of a Virginia United FC team.
•  90% of women in executive positions at Fortune 500 companies played organized sports at some point.
• Only 5% of children ages 5-18 reported meeting the federally recommended amount of exercise of 60 minutes per day
• Working on a common goal with a group of players and coaches teaches you how to build teamwork and effectively communicate to solve problems.
• Sports require memorization, repetition and learning - skill sets that are directly relevant to class work. 
• Household wealth is a primary driver of kids athletic participation. Compared to their peers whose families make more than $100,000/year, children ages 6-12 whose family income is under $25,000/year are nearly three times as likely to be inactive.
