Bingo!

Roanoke Valley Youth Soccer Club (RVYSC) runs bingo operations at Valley Hall in Vinton to pay upkeep and maintenance for the Kroger Countryside Soccer Complex. The bingo sessions on Saturday and Sunday (day and night sessions) are run by volunteers from the Club and are coordinated thru a Volunteer Coordinator on Sign Up Genius. Each session requires 10 to 12 volunteers with three key positions (training required), Bingo Manager/Treasurer, Instant Manager and Caller. Other volunteers sell bingo paper, instants and help with bingo games during the session. The day bingo session is from 11:45 to 4:30 and night sessions from 4:45 to 10:00. Volunteers are required to stay the entire session duration and credits will not count if volunteer leaves early. The Bingo Hall is divided into 2 areas for players (smoking and non-smoking) and all volunteers might be required to work the bingo sessions in both areas.

Requirements for Bingo Volunteers

1.      Enroll for Bingo thru Sign Up Genius and sign volunteer form for RVYSC (VBR Star).

2.      Volunteers must 14 years old and Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent.

3.      Minimum training for bingo sessions is required for the non key positions.

4.      Key Positions will require training by Volunteer Coordinator and will take 2 or 3 sessions depending on experience.

5.      Volunteers can wear VA United/VBR/RVYSC soccer apparel. No other team/group apparel is allowed.
