📅 NEW MEETING DATE: Our virtual information meetings have been moved to Friday, September 26th (same times: 6pm Denmark, 7pm Sweden)
âš½ GOTHIA CUP AGE GROUP CHANGES: Due to great interest, we've adjusted the Sweden trip groups:
- 2010/2011 boys and girls teams
- 2009/2008/2007 boys and girls teams
✅ ALREADY SIGNED UP? You'll receive your meeting link before September 26th - no need to do anything!

Trip Details & Background: Virginia United continues our partnership with Travel and Play, offering players an unforgettable opportunity to compete on a global stage and immerse themselves in the international soccer community.
Trip Overview:
- Gothia Cup, Sweden (July 9-20, 2026): The largest and most prestigious youth soccer tournament in the world - now for our updated age groups above
- Vildbjerg Cup, Denmark (July 25 - August 3, 2026): Top-tier youth soccer event known for competition and cultural exchange - for our 2014 and 2012 boys and girls teams
These trips are more than just tournaments — they are once-in-a-lifetime experiences that players and their families will remember forever. From international competition to cultural sightseeing, this is an opportunity to grow both on and off the field.
Virtual Information Meetings - Friday, September 26th: Travel and Play will host these sessions to review trip itineraries, travel logistics, and answer any questions you may have. More information and website links will be available at the meetings.
Meeting Schedule:
- Vildbjerg Cup (Denmark) Interest Meeting: 6:00 PM
- Gothia Cup (Sweden) Interest Meetings: 7:00 PM
